Dubai is the most popular city in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. This city has a lot of things to offer and sightseeing is one of the best thing to do.

It’s UAE’s 48th National Day and had our first Dubai day tour. It would be a long holiday, we had planned the trip days ahead and prepared a budgetary itinerary to cover most of the famous places of the city; gladly we’ve made it happened. We had covered five places in the morning and another four places in the afternoon. We had a picnic lunch at Zabeel Park but have to leave soon as we still have more plans to cover. It was tiring but fulfilling at the same time, we had fun and really did enjoy the trip. We’ve been able to stop to all the destinations in our itinerary without spending a lot, most of the places we’ve visited were free and some entree fees were cheap. There are so many interesting attractions in this city that worth a visit.

Last Exit DXB Bound by Meraas, an Americana-inspired food trucks offers a unique dining experience. Best place for stopover on the way to Dubai to grab something to eat, refresh and of course take photos of the artistic designs. Digital camera is not allowed as per the site rules but cellphone camera will do. Washroom is clean and has creative and unique styles.

Riverland Dubai is FREE! It’s a fun and interesting destination in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts which you can access without purchasing a ticket. The entrance to other parks such as Motiongate, Legoland and and Bollywood parks. A great place to stroll anytime of the day, except summer season!

The Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, previously known as Al Bastakiya, Dubai’s heritage that a must see.  One of the historical places, it features the Old Dubai where you could see a beautifully restored architectural structures. Best for sightseeing. The place is clean, quiet and calm that gives you a real feel of arabian culture.

The Abra ride is definitely worth to experience for only AED2 one way from Al Fahidi Port to Al Sabkha. It will sail as soon as it’s full. One of the best experience we had. 

Dubai Frame is the world’s largest picture frame, the newest Dubai landmark located at Zabeel Park. One of the iconic places to visit, ticket cost AED50 for adult and AED20 for children. It will give you a glance of an old Dubai in one side and new Dubai on the other side. It’s one of a must visit in Dubai. 

Zabeel Park is one of the most visited and popular place. This is the biggest park in Dubai. It has very well maintained grass and trees, and in terms of cleanliness. There’s a lot of activities that could possibly be done here like picnics, parties, stroll, exercise, walk, jog, parties, and there’s a playground for kids too that they will surely love. This park is also good for relaxation and getaways. Entry ticket costs AED5, can be paid using Nol card.

The Dubai Mall is one of the world’s largest shopping malls in that has plenty of shops and dine selections. Lots of activities and entertainment to explore as well, such as The Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Ice Rink, Reel Cinemas, etc. 

The Burj Khalifa, world’s tallest tower with more than 160 stories and an iconic tourist attraction in Dubai that offers great entertainment, fantastic experience and scenery. 

Miracle Garden, is the largest natural flower garden located in Dubai,UAE that earned two Guinness World Record for the largest vertical garden and world’s largest floral sculptures. This is one of the most famous and visited place in Dubai that offers incredible experience in terms of artistic and beautifully made huge sculptures covered with colorful flowers. Entry ticket costs AED55 for adult and AED40 for children. 

Global Village, is rich in cultures and a great destination for entertainment. Best place to learn different cultures, products and delicacies of countries across the world. There’s a floating market that serves different varieties of foods, and different shows, concerts, colorful lights and interesting activities. Entry fee is only AED15, a bit crowded every weekend but it’s fun and worth to experience and explore.
